Jon & Bee

I.T. Consultant Jon bought a Victorian, four-storey townhouse in Old Swindon, Wiltshire which he shares with step-daughter Bee and two young children. The ground floor is mostly open-plan so sitting room, home office and dining area all flow into each other. The galley kitchen is narrow and cut off from the rest of the space and tacked on to the end are a downstairs toilet and utility which obstruct any view of the garden. Cue Sarah Beeny who installs monitoring cameras, clarifies the layout and suggests a contemporary redesign.  Will Jon go with it?
