Business consultant Pradeep and his wife, Jashma, an accountant, bought their five-bed detached house in Ickenham, West London, 13 years ago. The ground floor consists of three huge, identical-looking spaces that don’t have clear functions. The décor is drab. Plus, the kitchen needs an upgrade to host big family get-togethers. Now the kids have grown up they finally have the cash to splash on a major overhaul, but where to start? Cue Sarah Beeny who sets up monitoring cameras and recommends an imaginative layout solution.
