Jo & Dod,
Harringey
North London artist Dod bought his one-bed garden flat in 1993. He met his soulmate Jo and in 2006 they married and set about renovating their home. Things stalled when Dod suffered not one but two heart attacks and the project was put on hold. They’re sharing a space that simultaneously acts as a living room, dining room, artists’ studio and home office. Plus their kitchen and bathroom are barely useable. Cue Sarah who installs monitoring cameras then creates a stunning new layout and design. Can this arty pair really handle a full-on build?
