Teacher Fran and HR Manager Ian have lived in their Croydon home for years. Now their two children have grown up and flown the nest, they’re agonising how to renovate the ground floor to suit this new chapter in their lives. They have a dining room that’s a barely used library, a kitchen too small to entertain their many friends in plus a cavernous but disorganised lounge.
